Bridgwater
Bridgwater is an industrial town of 36.000 inhabitants of the county of Somerset, in England.
The city was named prince Walter (Gautier, or Walscin) Douai after the conquest Norman of England by William the Conqueror. It is twinned with the town of Ciotat.
Bridgwater is famous thanks to its spectacular Carnaval of Guy Fawkes. The greatest enlightened carnival of the world, it attracts more than 150,000 spectators each November.
The 5th international Congress of modern architecture take place with Bridgwater in 1947.
