Brian Stowell

Brian Stowell (born with Douglas, on the island of Man, in 1936) is regarded as one of the essential actors of the survival of the language Mannois E. Whereas it was still young, Brian Stowell carries out recordings of its old speakers. Recently, it took part in the radio programs for Manx Radio (" Radio operator Vannin" in mannois).

Brian Stowell published works in mannois; inter alia Contoyryssyn Ealish ayns Cheer ny Yindyssyn , a mannoise translation of Alice to the country of the wonders , published in 1990. In March 2006, it leaves the first novel written in mannois: Dunveryssyn yn Tooder-Folley (Murders of the Vampires).
