Brian Michael Bendis is an author of Cartoon American born the August 18th 1967 with Cleveland, in the Ohio.
Biography
After having started as a scenario writer and an independent draftsman with works such as Goldfish , Jinx , Powers , or Torso , Brian Mr. Bendis was quickly made locate by the studios of Todd McFarlane where he worked a little before passing as an exclusive author at Marvel Comics where he built his reputation in the medium of the Comic-book Mainstream.Bendis contributed to create the label for adults MAX at Marvel thanks to its series Alias. It also contributed to the creation of the Ultimate universe by creating the first series of this universe, Ultimate spider-Man , but also while taking part in the creation of Ultimate Fantastic Four, by scénarisant episodes of Ultimate X-Men or at the time of the mini-series Ultimate Six. Bendis has also Co-writing Ultimate Power, another limited series having to modify the Ultimate universe before the Ultimatum events and Ultimate Origins In Alias, it creates the character of Jessica Jones which it will keep in his continuation The Pulse and which it will integrate in number of his work such New Avengers, Secret War or Daredevil. The passage of Bendis on this last character became a reference besides, on the level of that of Frank Miller.
Bendis also took the reins of part of the traditional Marvel universe at the time of Avengers Disassembled, event driving with the séparartion of the Avengers before their reformation under the title New Avengers in a new configuration. In same time, another side of the Marvel universe was upset by the repercussions of the mini-series Secret War which it scénarisée. Thereafter, Bendis launched the event House off M which flat gave several titles related to the X-Men, has integrates its series into the consequences of the event Civil War and préprare Secret Invasion, an major event of the universe Marvel prév for 2008 in the USA.
Bendis is a scenario writer particularly prolific, able to write more than five series per month. It is particularly famous for its dialogs striking and lengthily developed (with identical drawings of box out of box). The disadvantage of this style, often décrié, is the lack of action of its stories and their very slow development often. It also drew some of its works.

Brian Mr. Bendis received 5 Eisner Award. The first in 1999 for Jinx, Torso and Goldfish in the category new talent ; in 2001, Powers obtains the reward of better news series ; in 2002 and 2003, Bendis receives the reward of better author for Alias, Powers, Daredevil and Ultimate Spider-Man. Lastly, in 2003, Daredevil receives the reward of better unlimited series .
