Brian Jones (March 27th 1947 with Bristol-board -) is a British AƩrostier.
It carried out, in 1999, as a copilot with Bertrand Piccard, the first round the world tour uninterrupted in balloon on board the Breitling Orbiter 3 (developed by FPSL). They took off the 1er March 1999 of Castle-in Oex in Suisse, and landed in Egypt at the end of a flight of 45.755 kilometers and 19 days, 21 hours, 47 minutes.
Jones accepted then various distinctions (medals), of which the Harmon Trophy , the Hubbard Medal , the FAI Gold Air Medal and the Charles Green Salver .
