Brian Azzarello

Brian Azzarello is a American Scénariste of Comics born with Cleveland in Ohio

Biography

Biran Azzarello mainly worked with the Argentinian draftsman Eduardo Risso but also punctually with great names of the American comics such as Richard Corben or Jim Lee, English Steve Dillon or Spanish Jordi Bernet.

It launched out in two series of long allenes, 100 Bullets with the multiple ramifications, drawn by Eduardo Risso since 1999 and envisaged in 100 booklets and the series Loveless with the drawing Marcelo Frusin of which it announces to make about fifty booklets.

The work which Brian Azzarello builds is made of complex, very hard accounts and often very violent one.

Brian Azzarello uses diversities of the languages abundantly, he does not hesitate to make speak his characters in different slang or jargon buildings where the history proceeds.

He worked on characters of emblematic series such as Superman , Batman , Hellblazer/Constantine (character created by Alan Moore), Luck Cage , Hulk or even Spider-man .

It life with the author and illustrator Jill Thompson.

He also worked on the history of the future video game drawn from his series headlight 100 Bullets to appear during 2007.

Rewards

Harvey Award of the best scenario writer in 2002 and the best series limited in 2002 for its series 100 Bullets .

Eisner Award of best the history in 2001, of best the series continues in 2002 and 2004 for its series 100 Bullets .
