Brewers of Lorraine
Created in 2003, with Pont-à-Mousson by Governed Bubble and Jean-François Drouin, the Brewers of Lorraine has the role to make reappear Lorraine brewery artisanal know-how. The objective posted by the two creators is to produce beers of quality according to the brewery tradition of Lorraine. All the beers are 100% natural, pure malt, of high fermentation and do not undergo any pasteurization. thus the original taste of beer is preserved. The brewery, located at the center town, was installed in a building of the 19th century of a surface of 1500m2. Room of mixing of 40 HL, 6 fermenters unitank of 80HL, yeast filter, CIP, semi-automatic drawing machine barrels, isobaric conditioning in bottles of a capacity of 8000 bottles/hour.
Lorraine has a brewery rich person history indeed, to some extent still alive: Hinzelin brewery of Champigneulles (repurchased with Kronenbourg by German brewer TCB of the beer Frankfurter ), school of brewery of Nancy (current ENSAIA), old brewery of Saint-Nicolas-of-Port (current French Museum of the brewery), old brewery Lobstein (mark the Vosgean one) with City-on-Illon (current écomusée Vosgean of the brewery). And for the past, it is also necessary to quote the brewery of Cross-of-Lorraine with Bar-le-Duc, the old brewery Hanus (mark Kanterbraü) of Charmes (the Vosges), the old Greff brewery in Nancy, the old brewery Tourtel with Tantonville, the old Moreau brewery with Vézelise.
