Philippe Breton is a anthropologist French born in 1951, researcher with CNRS (Laboratory of sociology of the European culture in Strasbourg) and teaching with the Université of Paris I.
Philippe Breton centers his studies on the anthropology of the Parole and the techniques of Communication.
In the Utopia of the communication (1990), it shows how the " term; Communication " its meaning changed after the Second world war: a new ideology was born, based on comprehension, progress and a tragic humanism inherited the dramas Hiroshima and Auschwitz.
