Bretenoux
Bretenoux is a common French, located in the department of the Lot and the area the Midday-Pyrenees.
Geography
Country house located at the north of the Batch, close to the border with the department of the Corrèze, in the valley of the the Dordogne. It is stuck to the town of Biars-on-Cère, and is crossed by the Cère, and the old trunk roads RN 140 and RN 703

Personalities related to the commune
- Pierre Parcelled out, writer, passed part of its childhood to Bretenoux. It remained there in his uncle, Pierre Bon, during school vacations of summer of 1861 with 1864. It had of them unforgettable memories which it describes in its last works like: “The novel of a child”, “earliest youth” or “Diary”.
