Breogán

According to the Irish tradition, in a book of the XI century, the " Lebor Gabála Érenn " (the " Deliver of Conquêtes"), which tells the various invasions of Ireland, Breogán is the name of a Celtic mythical king of Galicia.

According to this legend, it built the Tour of Hercules (Torre de Hércules) to Corogne. Since which, always according to the legend, his/her son Ith saw the Ireland and left to his conquest. The anthem of Galicia speaks about Galicia as being the nation of Breogán.
