Brent Anderson

Brent Eric Anderson (born in 1955 with San Jose in California) is author of comic-books.

His parents supporting a traditional literature for child, it succeeds in all the same reading on rare occasions archie, Hot Stuff, or Denis the Mischievousness. Its tastes will however carry it towards the characters of Marvel Comics, in particular the Four Fantastic, whose family characteristic allures it. It is also the time when it creates its first characters in the margins of the books.

In 1979 it begins its career with Ka-Zar on scenarios of Bruce Jones. Then it carries out the album God creates, the Man destroyed , on a scenario of Chris Claremont, which will remain one of the stories of the most outstanding X-Men to date since it will inspire one of the film adaptations. Since, it created many series of which Somerset Holmes , Strikeforce Morituri or Astro City (with Kurt Busiek) which received many prices (Harvey Award, Eisner Award,…). He also worked on the series Rising Stars created by Joe Michael Straczynski. Its step is to privilege the characters in order to give a maximum of life to the general atmosphere of its stories.

He currently lives in the north of California with his wife and his son.
