Breitenau (concentration camp)
The concentration camp of Breitenau located at Breitenau, a district of Guxhagen, to approximately 15 km in the south of Cassel was during the years 1930 a concentration camp. It became then a " Camp of education by work ". The history of the camp of Breitenau under the Third Reich proceeds in 2 stages: in 1933 and 1934 on the one hand and of 1940 until the end of the war in 1945.
