Breakdown is an American film carried out by Jonathan Mostow, left in 1997.

Synopsis

Jeff and Amy Taylor took the road for San Diego, where a new life waits. In full desert, their car breaks down. A heavy truck stops. The driver, Red, propose to come to them to assistance. While Amy gives the responsability, with the helpful truck-driver, to go to quérir a breakdown truck, Jeff gets busy to repair the vehicle, that it succeeds in making start. It decides to go to join Amy but, with the transport cafeé, it does not find trace of his wife. In front of the silence of the autochtones, it takes again the wheel and sees the truck of Red. Questioned, he claims not to know it. Questioned by the police force, he ever denies to have met it.
