Braunvieh

The Braunvieh is a Swiss bovine race. It is the Germanic name corresponding to the brown .

Origin

It belongs to the brown Rameau. It arrived in Suisse with the people come from the East at the fall of the Roman Empire. She was discovered a ground of predilection in the east of the Suisse. She was subjected to the hard selection alpine valleys and the roughness of the mountain pastures during more than one millenium. Morphology
