The Brasschaat Braves are a club of Baseball located in the town of Brasschaat (more than 37.000 inhabitants), in Belgium. It is one of the most titrated clubs country.

History

The club is founded in 1958 under the name of Brasschaat baseball club. In 1975 the softball appears within the club which becomes Brasschaat Baseball & Softball Club . In 1988 a Dutch trainer deals with the team first. In 1990 the club takes the name of Brasschaat Braves. June 1st of the same year Levi-Strauss Belgium becomes the sponsor of the team first. The municipality grants also its support to him. These favorable conditions make it possible to the Brave men to become champions of Belgium in 1992, then to conquer other titles until in 2004. This time marks the domination of the club on Belgian baseball.
