Braslou

Braslou is a common French of the department of Indre-et-Loire, in the area Center.

Geography

The commune is located in a rather undulating main forest. Remotely equalizes between Razines and sourtout Richelieu, which is only with a few kilometers.

History

The commune of Braslou was quoted for the first time in the writings in the Cartulaire of the Abbaye Notre Dame de Noyers (hamlet attached today to Nouâtre) at the 11th century. It at the time medieval was attached to Faye-the-Vinous.

Places and monuments

Single architectural monument of the commune, the Notre-Dame church is a modern construction of the 19th century. There remains today only the bell-tower like some frescos, the principal building of the church was built later.

The commune has a base of leisure very interesting made up of a ground of Football, a court of Tennis, a surface of Swin golf, a pond of fishing and relaxation, as well as a sizeable network of pedestrian paths through its main forest. Some trade its still in activity in the borough.

In the center of the Borough, an old laundrette and a fountain are worth a small glance.
