Gala Brandt is a character of fiction in James Bond, more exactly in the novel Entourloupe in the azimuth ( Moonraker ) of Ian Fleming.
History
It is a female agent of MI5, the “interior” branch of the British secret services. It is charged to supervise malicious Hugo Drax. Cold and distant, it joins to the James Bond hero finally.
Comparison with other novels
It to date constitutes the only example of principal female character of a novel, devoted to the adventures of James Bond, who does not yield to the charm of the British spy. She marries a police officer at the end of the work.
