Economy and formation
Brandenbourg which lost a quarter of its population since the reunification and which is disaster victim by unemployment, tries to develop in the sector of new technologies. In 1992 was creates the Fachhochschule (technical university) of Brandenbourg. More than 2000 students are registered there. Since 2004, it accommodates the seat of RapidEye, undertaken the géomatique one and of international teledetection having more than 80 employees.
