Brake pad
A brake pad is the element of the Frein S with disc which enters in Friction on the surface of revolution in order to stop it. This friction produces a force opposed to the rotation of the Stator but also of the Chaleur which can become problematic when the friction takes important values as at the time of the landing of a plane for example.
There exists a broad variety of brake pads, with more or less aggressive material, more or less durable, according to whether the plate equips a plane which requires a great power for a single use, a racing car or a town car where too powerful brakes could be dangerous and uncomfortable for the user.
