Commune located at the west of the department of Mayenne (with a score of kilometers of Craon), beside the forest of Guerche of Brittany, and at the limits of four departments: Mayenne, Ille-et-Vilaine, Maine-et-Loire and Loire-Atlantique.

Old parish of the High-Anjou, located today in the Mayenne angevine.
Common depending on the district of Castle-Gontier.
