Brainbox
Brainbox is an rock group Dutch years 60/70. Their music is tinted of progressive Rock, Blues and Folk.
History
The group is founded with Amsterdam at the end of the 60 by Jan Akkerman (guitar), Pierre van der Linden (battery), Andre Reynen (low) and Kazimierz " Kaz" Lux (song). They were several successes with the Netherlands, of which " Between Alpha and Omega" , " Doomsday Train" and " Smile". Shortly after the exit of their first album, Akkerman and van der Linden leave the group to join Focus. They were replaced by the guitarists Hermann Meyer and Rudie de Quelijoe and by the beater Frans Smit. Meyer left quickly the place to John Schuursma. Into 1971, the line-up changes again with Michel van Dijk with the song, Tony de Queljoe and Ron Meyes with the guitars and Robert Verwey with low. Their popularity sank and they separated in 1972.
In 2004, Kaz Lux reformed the group (but without Jan Akkerman) and they occurred with the Netherlands.
