Brad Whitford
Brad Whitford is a guitarist born on February 23rd, 1952 with Reading (Massachusetts), having integrated Aerosmith into beginning of the year 70, after the departure of Ray Tabano, this last categorically refusing to go up on scene.
Brad made at the time figure of veteran, having already taken part in many American local groups such as Teapot Dome , Earth Incorporated , Cymbals Of Resistance , and Justin Tyme . It was recruited by classifieds. Its active participation with the compositions of Aerosmith is not any more to show, although very few pieces are credited to him, the majority being signed tandem Tyler/Perry . This situation, added to the many problems of drugs of the group in the Seventies, will push it with claquer the door during the sessions of Night in the Ruts in 1979, thus following close Joe Perry. During a time, it will join Derek St Holmes, former guitarist-singer at Ted Nugent. They will leave only one disc sobrement baptized Whitford/St. Holmes in 1981, before Brad does not join its old comparses Aerosmith in 1984.
