The rabbit Pygmy ( Brachylagus idahoensis Merriam, 1891) is small a Mammifère about the lagomorphs, family of the léporidés and the kind Brachylagus .
The rabbit Pygmy is the smallest rabbit of North America. It can hold on the palm of the hand and weighs only 400g approximately. It makes on average 25cm length with a very short tail of 20mm. Their color varies dark gray with the brown one. The ears are rather short, strongly hairy and with the white edge. The legs have also a thick hair. The females are a little larger than the males.
