Bracelet
A bracelet is an article of Vêtement or Joaillerie which is carried around the Poignet. Sometimes the bracelets can be manufactured in fabric, Plastic or Métal, and contain Roche S, Bois and/or shell S of animals.
They comprise sometimes a watch or other measuring instruments (Thermomètre, Tachymètre, Baromètre in particular).
The bracelets can also be used in medical intentions and of Identification, like the bracelets of allergy and identification of hospitals.
Some are carried like carry-chance like the Brazilian Bracelet.
When they are carried higher on the arm, and generally out of fabric, one speaks about Brassard.
The Jarretière is a fabric ring carried by the women at the time of their marriage around the thigh.
In the plural, it is a slang expression for the Menotte S. the miniaturization of radio technologies made it possible to set up electronic bracelets which allow the remote monitoring of the personnes : this discussed technology is considered in several countries like alternative to the detention.
In certain cases and by extension, one names bracelet these same objects which are carried around the ankle.
