Bpitch Control

Bpitch Control (Berlin Stadt) is a label of electronic music created by DJette Ellen Allien in 1997. The goal of the label is to promote electronic musics varied by trying out sounds with tendency techno, electro minimal thanks to of DJs like Kiki, Sascha Funke, Ben Klock, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tomas Andersson, Apparat, Smash TV. The label is also famous to have signed electro artists/electronica with the tempo breakbeat and ghetto tech like Modeselektor and Housemeister.

The Berliner label signed little French, among them: Feadz, the young person Eedio, elected better hope by the magazine Trax, Paul Nazca in 2006 for a hypnotic EP deep, and Chloé for EP of collective microphone-house with Kiki and Sascha Funke.

A little brother was born in 2005: Memo, specifically minimal subdivision. One finds Ben Klock there, and of the newcomers like Zander VT, Andre Crom.

In 2007, Bpitch Control leaves the first album Damero which is not other than it responsible for promotion of the label Marit Posh. This one qualifies its music of " dance-music for fauteuil" and has great vocal qualities. This same year leaves the third volume compiled the label, selected by Ellen Allien, accompanied by its round: the Bpitch Control Camp-site Turn . On this compilation of exclusivenesses are reproduced the Bpitch artists (from of which Timtim, Sylvie Marks), but also new-come: Zander VT, Larsson. A new title of Ellen Allien and Pageantry ( Red Planets ), and an invitation with Fairmont aka Jake Fairley (Bpitch Control being close to the English label To border Community).

While waiting for the second album of the Modeselektor, a new album solo of Sascha Funke, that of Paul Kalkbrenner, a Boogy Bytes Vol.3 is this time mixed by Modeselektor. Thirty pieces of famous artists: Radiohead, Nathan Fake, James Holden, Mr. Oizo, Phon.O, but also of others to discover, such as: Germans Errorsmith, Siriusmo,… Their mix comprise in particular their remixée version of a piece of Paul Kalkbrenner: gia 2000, and continues their collaboration with including all taxes: " a band of guy sympa".
