Bourbonnaise

Beautiful white hen with some black feathers on the end of the tail and the neck. This race constitutes a good hen of farm, with the many possibilities and of an easy breeding. At the same time good layer and good flesh. Weight of eggs 60/65 gr. and can lay to 200 eggs per annum.

This hen is originating in the Center of the France, it comes from crossing Bramha herminée and white Poule of the Loire Valley.

The essential characteristic of Bourbonnaise is its great productivity. Moreover it is very vigorous, can only be nourished and be defended. It is acclimatized everywhere. Although preferring freedom, it can be high in a hen house or a parquet floor without problem.

Young people the good nourished rise quickly and as of the three months age chickens of 1.500 G give. In six months, they are adult and weigh 3.500 G for the Coq S and 2.500 G for hens.
