Bourbon-Lancy is a common French, located in the department of Saône-et-Loire and the area Burgundy.

Its inhabitants is called the Bourbonniens .

Weapons of the town of Bourbon-Lancy:

“Of azure to the lion of gold accompanied by eight shells of very the lines in orle. ”

Brian Timms mentions the existence of an alternative Blason as follows born: “gold to the lion of mouths, with the orle of eight shells of azure ” which, according to him, would have been mentioned for the first time in a document in 1631. These weapons, which were those of the Seigneur S of Bourbon of the family of Dampierre (1196 - 1296), could have been granted the city by Eudes of Burgundy (1230-1269), count de Nevers, of Auxerre and of Thunder, duke heir to Burgundy, husband starting from 1248 of Mathilde II of Bourbon (v. 1234-1262), lady of Bourbon.

Geography

Bourbon-Lancy is a small medieval city in the south-west of the Burgundy. It is located at the western end of the Département of Saône-et-Loire, at the limit with the Allier and the Nievre.

Especially known since the Antiquité for its Eau X Thermale S which, of the Romans to the curists of the 21e century, looks after successfully the Rhumatisme S.
