Bourail
Bourail is located at 162 km of Noumea. It is the most rural commune of the Grande Ground. It is a young city since half of the inhabitants have less than 30 years.
Many the inhabitants of Bourail will continue their studies with Noumea. To avoid this fall of population, the commune created more and more of schools. There are approximately 2000 children provided education for in the schools, it is no university.
The commune is located at the same time in the mountains and at the edge of the sea. The beaches are tourist but remain wild, it are a snuffed place of the surfers.
There are six tribes in the communes, one decides between them in two kinds, Oroe (those of the mountain) and Neku (those of the seaside). Four of them are with north and two steps far from the littoral.
Bourail is the name of the chief town of the commune, one finds there the Musée of Bourail.
The resources are agriculture and the breedings. Primarily of bovines but also the porcine ones, deer tribe, poultry and Bee-keeping. There are 300 hectares of Maïs and 200 of Potatoes, one practices also the Food crop.
