Boulevard de Maisonneuve

The boulevard of Maisonneuve is an artery of Montreal named in the honor of the founder of the city, Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve.
This boulevard has a length of about 11 km. It starts with the street of Le Havre, the parking of the buses of the Shipping company of Montreal (STM), and finishes with the street Coffee in the west of the city (district Our-Lady-of-Grace), opposite the Loyola campus of the Université Concordia. It is an artery with one way in western direction and it is cut into two by the Westmount park. At the downtown area, it is located between famous the Rue Holy-Catherine and the Rue Sherbrooke.
Some remarkable buildings are located on the boulevard of Maisonneuve, in particular the Grande Bibliothèque of Quebec, the Université from Quebec in Montreal, the Place of Arts, the two campuses of the University Concordia (Sir George Williams and Loyola), the Forum of Montreal and the Collège Dawson. The underground city of Montreal is accessible by the boulevard, in particular between the street McGill College and the street University.
The green line of the Métro of Montreal follows the boulevard of Maisonneuve between the stations Lionel-Groulx and Berri-UQÀM. The station Vendôme, on the orange line, is also located on this boulevard.
