Boulevard Général Wahis
The General boulevard Wahis (in Dutch: Generaal Wahislaan ) is an important artery belonging to the large belt of Brussels located on the territory of the common of Schaerbeek, which goes from the crossroads of the Avenue Chazal and the Boulevard Lambermont to the Place General Meiser while passing by the Avenue of the Gardens, the Boulevard Léopold III, the Rue of the Poppies and the Rue Paul Hymans.
It is the prolongation of the Lambermont boulevard and is prolonged by the Boulevard Auguste Reyers.
Between the n° 16 and the n° 18 an access road is towards an industrial zoning which skirts the Gare Josaphat. This access road also bears the name of boulevard Général Wahis until the junction with the commune of Evere, where this street is called Rue Auguste De Boeck.
This boulevard bears the name of the Militaire Theophilus Wahis born with Menin the April 27th 1844 and deceased the January 26th 1921.
