Bertrand Boulbar, known as Boulbar is a Auteur-compositeur-interprète French born on June 19th, 1977 with Rouen.
Biography
After its baccalaureat, it comes to live with Paris to follow studies of history and of history of Article Parallel to its studies, it writes its first songs and gradually constitutes a repertory in a style " New scene française" (Dominique has, Miossec, Vincent Delerm). In 2002, it decides to be devoted to the music and starts to go up on scene in the Parisian small rooms (Path of the Markets, barge El Alamein, Espace Comedia, the Zebra of Belleville…). In 2005, it leaves its first self-production " Boulbar" recorded at the house. He proposes this album in legal downloading and free under Creative License Commons on the site of " The Music does not have Pas Prix" '' like on the platform Jamendo. Its songs circulate on the Net. Many a Web Radio operators diffuse it and it obtains some passages over national radios (France Inter and Europe 1 in the emission of Laurent Ruquier " One goes gêner")
On scene, Boulbar worked with several formations: piano-double bass-guitar, guitar-low-battery, guitar-computer-sampler. Today, accompanied by its only electric guitar and sound sampler, it occurs in solo. For him, the scene represents the occasion to renew the approach of its songs.
The second album of Boulbar, " Requiem for a champion" , on November 30th, 2007 will leave. It will be about a concept album which will tell the glory and the déchance of a boxer in America of the Sixties.
