The island Boulay commonly indicates a Archipel of island S whose principal one is indeed the Boulay island. These islands are located in the lagoon of Abidjan, in Cote of ivory, in the vicinity immediate of the Port authority and the Atlantic Ocean. A channel ensures the connection between the ocean and the Lagune, avoiding with water bordering the Boulay island to remain stagnant. The islands are populated very little and profit neither from the Téléphone neither of the electricity nor of roads.

The Boulay island has been a vacation resort sought for more than 30 years because of its preserved nature, its insulation and also of its immediate proximity of the center town of Abidjan (15 minutes in boat). Private individuals there installed more or less luxurious paillottes with their expenses and pay to the usual chiefs a rent for the ground. Officially, the Port authority of Abidjan is owner of this zone and could requisition it in order to increase the Port of Abidjan. The place is ideal for the water sports and in particular the Water skiing. International champions involved themselves there. A project envisages the extension of the Port authority of Abidjan towards the Island Boulay starting from 2008.
