Bougainvillea

The bougainvillea , sometimes called the bougainvillea , is a shrub of the family of the Nyctaginacée S pertaining to the kind Bougainvillea discovered by the botanist Philibert Commerson with the Brésil during forwarding around the world directed by the French explorer Louis Antoine de Bougainville.

The bougainvilleas are thorny shrubs climbing with the sharp colors which contrary to appearance are not due to the flowers. Those are small and white, and they are the Bractée S of the end of the branches which surround them which offers pink varied colors, red, mauve, orange, yellow, white.

These plants are originating in the wet tropical forests of South America and are largely used like decorative plants until in the hot moderate areas.

There are many lianescentes varieties.
