Origin and history
This family is originating in the Northern , but fixed itself definitively at Caussade (Tarn-et-Garonne), close to Montauban, as of the 16th century. Antoine Boudet is attested in 1549. Boudet became gradually notable buildings. Do merchants tanners at the 17th century, they take the rank of traders at the 18th century with Pierre Boudet (1702 - 1747) and his brother Jean (1705 -? ), established in Holland. The wire of Pierre, Pierre-Paul (1739 - 1813) and Pierre of Bombardière (1740 - 1826) were respectively director of the stations and landowner.Of four wire of Pierre-Paul, three took part in the wars of the Révolution, like volunteers as of year II: Jacques (1760 - 1840), Etienne (1761 - 1828) and Pierre (1764 - 1826), the first with the 14th regiment of hunters with horse, the second and third with the 43e regiment of infantry (later the 85e then the 34e regiment of infantry). Jacques remained in the career and took his retirement like Colonel in 1806. Etienne, bench with Laval, engaged in the policy like Maire of Laval and Député of the Mayenne. Pierre turned over to Caussade to live as an easy operating owner. The elder one of wire of Pierre-Paul, fore-mentioned also Pierre-Paul (1758 - 1813) resided at that time at Paris, being employed with the ministry for the Interior.
With the 19th century, Pierre-Paul Boudet (1799 - 1844), wire of Jacques, revolutionary enthusiast of 1830, his/her son Léopold (1837 - 1908), its grandsons Gaston (1861 -? ), Georges (1863 - 1902) and Albert (1866 -? ) various functions in the State had, as prefectoral administrators, colonial or diplomatic.
