Bouaké
Bouaké is a city of the center of the Ivory Coast, located at approximately 350 km in the north of Abidjan. With a population from approximately 600.000 inhabitants, and 1,5 million inhabitants for the agglomeration, it is the third city of the country after Abidjan and Yamoussoukro. It is the capital of the country Baoulé, currently under rebellious occupation.
Bouaké is on the line of Railroad which connects Abidjan to Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), exploited by the Sitarail. It is known for its Carnaval and the market of the cathedral Holy-Therese. Bouaké is the capital of the Archidiocèse of Bouaké.
History
