Borvo
In the Celtic Mythology Gallic, Borvo ( Bormo or Boramus ) is a god healer whose théonyme means “bubbling water”. He is known by inscriptions going back from the Gallo-Roman time and a certain number of toponyms: Bourboule, Bourbonne-the-Baths in France, or Burtscheid, Worms, in Germany, to quote only these examples. The number of these toponyms proves the diffusion and the importance of the worship dedicated to this divinity of the thermal springs. He is regarded as an equivalence of the Greek god Apollon. Its parèdre is Damona whose name means “Large Cow”, (it also called Bormona ), which is not without relationship with Boand of the Tuatha Dé Danann of Irish mythology .
