Borrelia burgdorferi
Borrelia burgdorferi is a group of Bactérie S of the kind Borrelia , of which a part only is pathogenic for the man and person in charge of the Maladie of Lyme.
The three principal pathogenic species are:
- Borrelia afzelii (prevalent in Eurasia)
- Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto (prevalent in North America and Europe)
- Borrelia garinii (prevalent in Eurasia)
These bacteria are transmitted to the man via Tique S vectrices belonging to various species.
