Born-Tziona

Born-Tziona ( נסציונה ) is a municipality founded in 1883, and located between Rishon LeZion and Rehovot. It settles with the site of a small-scale farming held by a farmer of German origin, alive of its orchard. The ground becomes then the property of Réouven Lehrer, follower of the Amants of Sion originating in Russia.

With the emigration of its family, Lehrer baptizes the place: " Réouven" property;.

They are joined by a group of workmen originating in Rishon LeZion. Part of the grounds is then repurchased by Michael Halperin, pioneer of the rebirth of Ground the Jewish people of Israel. In 1890, Halperin renames the " place; Born-Tziona" , referring to the Book of Jérémie (4/6).

Born-Tziona a biological institute of reputation shelters today.

Its population rises with 30.000 inhabitants.
