Borisav Stanković

Borisav “Bora” Stanković (born with Vranje, 1875 or 1876, died with Belgrade October 22nd 1927) is a Serb writer of the realistic school. Its novels and news put in scene the life of the inhabitants of the south of Serbia.

It is especially known for its dramatic work Koštana and its novel Nečista krv ( impure Blood ).

Several of its works were translated into French: Gazda Mladen , the faded Rose , impure Blood , God's people and other news .
