Boris Mihovilovic Sokol
Boris Mihovilovic Sokol (born on May 31st, 1957 in Srednje Selo, a village of the island of Šolta, in Croatia) is a Croatian painter .
He moved in Germany with Offenbach amndt Hand in 1980. It is as from this moment of life that its engagement in painting strongly intensified.
Its first exposure took place in 1983 in Frankfurt amndt Hand. The years which followed, he learned various techniques, especially by copying Johannes Vermeer and of the Italian painters.
Little by little, it finds its own style, oil on fabric.
It exposed its works to Offenbach, Bad Würzach, Giesen, Hoffheim, Schwalbach and with Frankfurt amndt Hand.
Its workshop is now on the island on which it was born, Šolta, in its native village.
