Borgata
The Borgata is a hotel, casino and a thermal spa with Atlantic City, New Jersey had by Marina District Development Corporation, LLC. It is on the topic of the Toscane. Borgata was built to bring the new one to Atlantic City. At a cost of $1.1 billion, Borgata is a 146 height meters hotel and 43 stages with 2.002 rooms, 7.000 m ² of the space of meeting, 11 gourmet restaurants, a thermal spa of 5.000 m ², and a floor of set of 12.000 m ². History
Borgata opened on July 2nd 2003.
The new wing opened in June of 2006. An extension of the hotel of $325 million is projected for 2007.
At the beginning of 2006, a fire almost destroyed the restaurant of Ombra inside the complex.
In July 2006, of the operations of gambling were stopped during three days due to a conflict of budget of state.
