Bored Henri

Henri Barbé was born the March 14th 1902 with Paris and deceased the May 24th 1966 in Paris.

Metal-worker, it adheres to 15 years with Socialist Youths. Partisan of adhesion to the International IIIe, it chooses the Communist party naturally, with the scission of the Congrès of Turns.

In 1926, it is promoted general secretary of Communist youths.

In 1928, he is member of excécutif of the IIIe Internationale.

In 1929, it replaces Pierre Sémard with the head of PCF, in a team which also includes/understands Maurice Thorez and Pierre Célor.

In 1931, it is blamed during a meeting of the BP (Political office) to which takes part the representative of Moscow, Manouilsky. Eliminated from BP (and replaced by Thorez), it makes a long stay in Moscow.

In 1934, It joined Jacques Doriot and founds with him the French Popular party (PF).

Under the occupation, it joined the RNP of Marcel Déat.

Condemned to the forced labors with the Release, it is slackened in the end of 49.

It takes part in the review anticommunist East & West.

In 1959, it converts with Catholicism and is made baptize. Until its death in 1966, he collaborates regularly in the monthly catholic review Itinéraires founded by Jean Madiran in 1956.
