Bordeaux-Paris

Created in 1891, the race cyclist Bordeaux-Paris knew 86 editions, the last in 1988.

This test was single in its kind, by its length of approximately 600 km and by its unfolding. During the second part of the course, the runner was placed behind a machine motorized called Derny , led by the trainer, in order to reduce the resistance of the air, which enabled him to reach speeds of about 50 to 60 km/h. This payment however underwent many successive adaptations.
