Borås
Borås is a town of 61 929 inhabitants located in the County of Västra Götaland and in the historical province of Västergötland, in Sweden, at approximately 60 km of Gothenburg. It is the chief town of the Commune of Borås.
History
The city was rested by the king Gustave II Adolphe in 1621. It was devastated by fires in 1681, 1727, 1822 and 1827. The Caroli church having escaped all the fires, is the oldest building.
