Bonnemare
The Château of Bonnemare belongs to the inheritance of the Norman Vexin.
Built in 1570 on the remainders of an old medieval manor , it was regularly altered thereafter with the addition of a vault classified with the Historic buildings and of a châtelet of entry, then of buildings of farm.
Among curiosities, one can quote the great kitchen, having turn-pins imagined by Léonard de Vinci and which still functions, of the frames " with the Philibert Delorme " , today very rare from their style of construction, and a cider-house including/understanding a monumental press (with a 8 m length lever!)
The Castle of Bonnemare can still be visited at the time of certain occasions (for the groups, at the time of the European Journées of the inheritance,…) and was refitted in 2006 to be rented (rooms of hosts of prestige or lodging in the body of farm).
