Village of 414 inhabitant of the Canton of Hérimoncourt (7 km in the west), on the D34 secondary road of Audincourt to Porrentruy (Swiss).

Andre Beucler born with saint-Petersbourg on February 23rd, 1898, of stock montbéliardaise. Writer celebrates (his most known novel is " Mouth of amour"). Resident of the commune, in the house which his/her father made build, where it passed his childhood and where it wrote most of his works.
