Bonanza is a American Televised series in 430 45 minutes episodes, created by David Dortort and diffused between the September 12th 1959 and the January 16th 1973 on the network NBC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the January 6th 1965 on the first chain of ORTF.
Synopsis
This series puts in scene the animated adventures of Ben Cartwright and his three sons which direct a ranch, the Ponderosa , in the Nevada in the middle of the 19th century.

This series, which was a considerable success in the United States, was the occasion to discover many young people actors like Jodie Foster, Leonard Nimoy, Kate Jackson, Stefanie Powers, DeForest Kelley… and particularly Michael Landon which, a few years later, will become the hero of the Small house in the meadow .
