Bombyx

For the zoologists, the term Bombyx particularly indicates one of Lépidoptère which gathers nothing any more but only one species ( Bombyx mori ) with which one produces Soie. The vernacular names carried by this lépidoptère are, when it is adult, in the form of butterfly: Bombyx of the mulberry tree, or in the form of caterpillar Silkworm.
