Bolesław Prus

Bolesław Prus (1847-1912) was a writer and journalist Polish.

Initially representing Positivism Polish (see: Eliza Orzeszkowa, Henryk Sienkiewicz), it became later realistic. Philosopher's stones of Prus - " The poupée" (Lalka) and " Pharaon" (Faraon) - had a great success and Prus was candidate with the Nobel Prize of literature.
