Synopsis

The knight of Pardaillan is charged by the king Henri III, besieged with Chartres by the troops of the Duc of Own way, to go to request the assistance of the troops of Henri de Béarn. He must, for that, to cross the enemy lines. One entrusts Maurevert to him like guides while the duke Charles of Angouleme the escort. Pardaillan will have to thwart the perfidies of the Duc of Own way which will put on its way its dangerous spies and beautiful intrigantes.
