Boisset Saint Priest was made before of two communes (Boisset in Montsupt and Saint Priest in Voussey, the two communes were joined together after the revolution. This village thus has the characteristic to have two churches, two schools, two cemeteries and two war memorials. What also makes that inhabitants of Boisset Saint Priest, bears two different names: " Ayasses" in Saint Priest and " Groles" Boisset has. These names come from the patois from there low because " ayasse" wants to say black and white, which désiqnait good the sisters vêtues white which étaients on the commune of Priest Saint, and " groles" wants to say corbel what designated the priest vêtu his soutae black, which was on the commune of Boisset.
